TINY TWIRLERS_PRE-SCHOOL ALTERNATIVE PROGRAM 9a-12p_Ages: 2.5-5y

Our pre-school alternative program is open for enrollment. We are excited to bring play, creativity and collaborative learning to our breadth of programs. Educators and makers have helped us curate this amazing program inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach.

Classes are in session. Winter Registration will open Sept. 21st. 

You have the option of choosing 2, 3, or 5 days per week

First 25 students will be accepted and others will be put on the waitlist for future sessions.

Program incorporates core concepts in a playful way through hands-on learning, structured activities, invitations to play and create, problem solving and confidence building.

Spaces are first come first serve. You will be notified through email of acceptance.

Lottery begins May 25th and ends June 22nd. Any remaining spaces will be released June 28th. We anticipate being able to accommodate most but if your particular days requested fills up we will give a full refund on June 28th or notify you of which days may be available.

MORE PROGRAM DETAILS

Tiny Twirlers is a two part program integrating core concepts of math, science, language arts, social and emotional development with play based philosophies. Inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach to learning children will be invited to explore and learn at their own pace. Students will be divided into two age groups 2.5yrs - 3.5yrs and 3.5yrs - 5yrs. 

A typical day consists of morning circle time with songs and stories. Calendar, Letter of the day and numbers may be integrated into the sing-alongs. 

Then its off to centers. Children will explore core concepts in a fun relaxed environment. Examples of this could include science concepts by exploring color mixing or planting seeds and recording our observations. Math concepts could include sorting shapes, colors, sizes or making patterns with tinker trays. We have a multitude of fun lessons planned. 

Lastly they will be given an invitation to create and play. Themes may include theater,art or open play. Guest teachers include music, cooking and spanish. 

LOGISTICS:

We provide a snack but if your child has an allergy please pack them a snack. We are a nut free facility. 

Children should wear comfortable clothing that is ok to paint in and explore various materials. 

Parents must sign in and sign out daily. Notify us if your child will be picked up by another adult and ID must be presented. 

Pick up on time. You will be assessed a late charge of $1 per minute payable that day.  

Refund/Cancellation Policy: Withdrawals may be made by email, phone or in person 30 days prior to program start date. A $15 processing fee will apply. The remainder of the fee will be placed as a credit on your account towards future classes/camps. Unfortunately because spots are limited, no credit is given for partial attendance. No portion of the tuition will be refunded if the child is absent, withdrawn, or should otherwise fail to complete the activity.

REQUIREMENTS:

Children must be potty trained or close to achieving this. A pull-up can be worn if the child is not quite potty trained.

Children must be able to separate from their parents.
